Brennan is a jewelry line born on my, Mary-Brennan's, Los Angeles apartment floor in 2017. It was an experiment of sorts, assembling parts, learning materials. Having grown up an actor and musician, I was on the hunt for yet another creative expression, one that was tangible. Some people may describe me as "self-taught" but in reality, the artisans that I've worked with over the years have patiently taught me everything useful that I know. Many of them are second and third generation jewelers and I consider to be family at this point. We support each other, feed each other, admire each other.

It's named after my grandmother, Marilyn Brennan who graciously gifted me her surname. She has beautiful handwriting - she actually hand-wrote our logo in her handwriting.
